EVERY DATE IN ONE PLACE

The JCBC event calendar 2026.

Tap any event for details. Once a month, the Sunday puja becomes a Mahapuja, followed by a Preeti Bhoj shared by the whole community. 2027 dates will be added soon.

JCBC ANNUAL EVENTS

A year of celebration and reflection.

These are the moments that bring our community together every year. Exact dates follow the Jain calendar and are posted in the calendar above as they are confirmed.

  • MARCH OR APRIL

    Mahavir Janam Kalyanak

    The birth of Bhagwan Mahavir, the 24th Tirthankar. Puja, Rath Yatra, aarti, and a joyful day of festivities for all ages.

  • MARCH

    Holi

    A bright, family-friendly celebration of colour and togetherness.

  • JULY

    Temple Anniversary (Sthapna Diwas)

    We celebrate the day our temple opened in 2016, with special puja, reflection, and a community meal. 2026 marked our 10th anniversary.

  • AUGUST OR SEPTEMBER

    Paryushan & Das Lakshan

    The most sacred days of the Jain year. Days of prayer, fasting, pratikraman, and forgiveness, ending with Samvatsari and Kshamavani: Michhami Dukkadam.

  • OCTOBER OR NOVEMBER

    Diwali & Mahavir Nirvan

    We mark Bhagwan Mahavir's nirvana with Diwali Puja, followed by the Jain New Year and, in many years, the Diwali Gala.

  • NOVEMBER OR DECEMBER

    Gyan Panchami & Maun Ekadashi

    Days to honour knowledge and practise silence and reflection, often marked with our Pathshala children.

EVERY MONTH, ALL YEAR

Monthly Mahapuja

Once a month, the Sunday puja becomes a Mahapuja: a longer, fuller ceremony, followed by a Preeti Bhoj shared by the whole community. One of the warmest mornings of the month, and a lovely first visit for new families.

  • RSVP and ticketsSome events need an RSVP or ticket so we can plan food and seating. Please register early.
  • Limited spotsTicketed events can sell out. Book early to avoid missing out.
  • ChangesTimes and details can change. Check the event listing before you leave home.
  • At the templePlease dress modestly and remove your shoes at the entrance.

Every celebration runs on seva.

Setup, kitchen, welcome desk, cleanup. Our events happen because volunteers give a few hours. It is one of the best ways to meet the community.
